Summer Party – July 9, 2022, to be held at the BookBar, 4280 Tennyson St., Denver, Colorado 80212, to announce the winners of RMFW’s Writer of the Year.
Colorado Gold Conference – September 9-11, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center, 13200 East 14th Place, Aurora, Colorado 80011. At the conference, the winner of the writing contest in various categories will be announced. For the third year, I was a volunteer judge of the Colorado Gold Rush Literary Awards Contest in the mystery-thriller category.
SBC Summit North America, “The Leading Sports Betting and IGaming event in North America,” at the Meadowlands Expo Center, July 12-14, 2022. Industry leaders of the sports betting industry will discuss current topics. The panels will include an overview of iGaming, sports betting, fixed odds in horseracing, college sports betting, regulation and compliance, marketing and related issues.

Denver Fan Expo at the Colorado Convention Center, July 1-3, 2022. I served as one of the panelists on a session that provided critique of sample pages submitted by aspiring writers.
RMFW Colorado Gold Writers Conference, October 15-17, 2021, at the Renaissance Hotel in Denver. This is a hybrid conference with both in-person and virtual attendance. I will be on the Writer of the Year nominee panel. I will also be one of the contest judges for the Gold Rush Literary Awards.
Meets the second Thursday of every month with various speakers. During 2019 the meetings were held monthly at the Colorado Auto Dealers Association, 290 E. Speer Blvd., Denver, 80203. In 2020, the virtual Holiday Party was held on December 10, 2020, at 6:30.

In 2020, RMFW continued its annual writer’s contest in various categories with the Colorado Gold Rush Literary Awards Contest. I volunteered as one of the preliminary judges for the contest and was amazed by the creativity and writing talent of the entrants. The winners were announced at a virtual event on September 11, 2020.

In 2020, RMFW, Pikes Peak Writers and Northern Colorado Writers joined forces as Colorado Writers Collaborative to provide a virtual conference that included 36 hours of video presentations on various subjects for writers available for free on the YouTube Channel for the month of September. Over twenty-five authors, freelance editors, self-publishing experts and members of the three organizations contributed. Members of RMFW can continue to access these presentations online.

Wyoming Writers, Inc. 45th Annual Conference, June 7-9, 2019
UW Gateway Center Complex, Laramie, Wyoming. Wyoming Writers, Inc. held their annual membership meeting virtually on June 6, 2020.
Pikes Peak Writers Conference was held on May 3-4, 2019
at the Colorado Springs Marriott. Due to a conflict, I was unable to attend in 2019, but I usually attend this conference every year and highly recommend it. For 2020, Pikes Peak Writers joined the Colorado Writers Collaborative project discussed above.
